FAQ

Questions we get about UTUVO Player Pro, the downloads and the data.

Everything, in one place

What is UTUVO?

UTUVO Player Pro is a macOS app for reviewing a mix and returning exact notes. Micky builds it because it is the mix-review tool he needed and could not find anywhere else. Local, signed and notarized for macOS; ready when it is honest to say so.

What can I download right now?

UTUVO Player Pro is the only completed product. Its download link appears here once the build is signed and notarized; until then there is no link and no announced date.

Will my sessions and files be uploaded?

No. UTUVO apps run locally on your machine; scan results and file contents are not uploaded to any server.

Which systems are supported?

UTUVO Player Pro runs on macOS. Detailed system requirements are on its product page.

How do I report a problem?

Email [email protected] with the product name and your macOS version. A human reads it.

Does this site use cookies?

No. This site uses no cookies and no tracking or analytics. See the privacy policy.

Is there a download link?

Yes. The 0.9.0-beta.11 public build is signed, notarized and stapled. Double-click the DMG, drag UTUVO Player Pro into the Applications folder, then open it from there. The first launch is offline. The exact SHA-256 is on the Downloads page.

Does it ship for iOS?

No iOS build. UTUVO Player Pro runs on macOS only.

Can I send notes by email?

Yes, as one of four output paths. Sending uploads the note text, loudness readings and one screenshot to UTUVO’s own endpoint (api.utuvo.app/send-notes), not a third party.

Does MIDI export keep my Chinese notes?

MIDI has no Traditional Chinese encoding, so marker names are ASCII (index + summary). The full Chinese text lives in the .txt sidecar.
