Even (兩清) — Privacy Policy

Even (the app) does not collect, upload or share any of your personal data. No account, no servers, no ads, no tracking.

Where your data lives

• Your bills (items, amounts, who had what, who has paid), trips and exchange rates, your friends’ names and your settings are stored only on your iPhone, in storage shared by the app and its widget.
• Your name and payment details are optional. They only leave your phone when you tap Share, inside the text or card you send through the app you choose (for example LINE).
• The app has no servers and no accounts, and uses no third-party SDKs (no analytics, advertising or crash reporting).
• Like any app, your data is included in your own iCloud or computer backups, according to Apple’s rules and your settings. We have no access to them.
• Deleting a bill deletes its receipt photo. Deleting the app deletes all of the data.

Camera and photos

The camera is used only when you tap Scan, to photograph a receipt. Photos you pick go through Apple’s photo picker, so the app only receives the one you chose. Items, amounts and the QR codes on Taiwanese e-invoices are read with Apple’s on-device recognition; nothing is uploaded. The photo is kept, compressed, with that bill on your phone.

Widget and Siri

The widget reads the same on-phone data to show what you are owed; ticking a name on it updates that data on your phone. The Siri shortcut does its arithmetic on the phone and sends nothing.

Purchases

Even Pro is a one-time In-App Purchase handled by Apple (no subscription). Apple keeps your payment details; the app only learns whether Pro has been purchased. Loading the price, buying and restoring are the app’s only network activity, all through Apple.

Children

The app is not directed at children under 13 and collects no one’s data.

Changes

If a future version changes how data is handled (for example cloud sync), we will update this policy first, say so in the release notes, and only turn it on with your consent.
