UTUVO Remote support
UTUVO Remote turns an iPhone or iPad into the control surface for UTUVO Monitor on your Mac: main volume, CUT and DIM, sources and monitor sets, speaker solo and mute, and loudness meters.
What you need
- iPhone or iPad with iOS / iPadOS 17 or later.
- UTUVO Monitor running on a Mac on the same network.
- In UTUVO Monitor: Settings › Remote Controllers › OSC on, and Enable LAN on.

Connecting
- Put the iPhone or iPad on the same Wi-Fi as the Mac and open UTUVO Remote.
- Allow “find devices on your local network” when iOS asks.
- The app finds UTUVO Monitor by itself and connects. Behind a VPN it asks your Wi-Fi subnet directly.
If it does not connect
- iOS Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network: turn on “UTUVO Remote”. If it is not listed, close the app from the app switcher and open it again.
- Check that the Mac and the iPhone or iPad are on the same Wi-Fi, and that OSC and Enable LAN are on in UTUVO Monitor.
- Connect by address: in the app’s Settings enter the Mac’s IP address (System Settings › Wi-Fi › Details on the Mac) and port 41234.
- Allow UTUVO Monitor in the Mac’s System Settings › Privacy & Security › Local Network, and in any firewall you use.
