Data on your device
Imported comic archives, extracted pages, bookshelf entries, favorites, reading progress, saved demo pages and preferences are stored in the app container on your device. UTUVO Reader does not upload this data to UTUVO servers. Version 1.0 has no account system, analytics SDK, advertising tracker or in-app purchase.
Files and cloud providers
You choose the CBZ or CBR files that the app can open through Apple Files. If you select a file stored in iCloud Drive or another provider, that provider may retrieve it under its own terms and privacy policy. UTUVO Reader 1.0 does not connect to third-party comic catalogues or download executable extensions.
Email and support
If you email support, we receive the information you choose to send and use it to reply and provide support. Our email provider processes the message to deliver it; legal obligations may require retention. Please do not send comic archives or other sensitive files.
Deletion and backups
You can remove books in the app. Deleting UTUVO Reader removes its app-container data, subject to Apple backup behavior. Copies kept separately in Files or a cloud provider remain under your control. iOS device backups may include app data according to your settings.
Website hosting
The public UTUVO support and policy pages are hosted by Cloudflare Pages. Cloudflare processes the technical information needed to deliver a web page. This website processing is separate from the app; UTUVO Reader does not send your library or reading data to the website.
