過目 (Sift) — Privacy Policy

過目 (the app) does not collect, upload or share any of your personal data.

Your screenshots

• With your permission, the app reads the screenshots in your photo library and recognises their text and QR codes with Apple’s on-device recognition. Nothing is uploaded.
• What it keeps: the recognised text, what it found in it (codes, accounts, dates…) and a small thumbnail, stored only on your iPhone (in storage shared by the app and its widget).
• Original screenshots are deleted only when you choose to in Cleanup, and iOS asks you to confirm; deleted photos stay in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Asking questions

Answers come from Apple Intelligence’s on-device model: your question and the text of the relevant screenshots are processed on your iPhone and are not sent to us.

No servers, no accounts

The app has no servers and no accounts, and uses no analytics or advertising SDKs. Deleting the app deletes its data.

Purchases

Pro is sold through Apple In-App Purchase. Apple keeps your payment details; the app never receives them.
